Tic Tac Bets: Cashier & Floor Attendant

Introduction:

TicTac Bets is looking for suitable candidates to apply for the following posts Cashier (Betting Clerk) and Floor Attendant:

The main role is to assist betting clients to place their bets correctly and efficiently. The candidate must be prepared to work shifts.

Lay cash and account bets for customers, and have a thorough understanding of all products, markets, and bet types.
Assist with customer queries and issues until a manager is required.
Must be able to handle and balance cash, as the clerk is deemed responsible for his/her money.
Responsible for accurately recording payouts and cancelled tickets, safeguarding these tickets, and handing them to management at the end of each business day
Understand bet limit amounts where authorization and/or an audit is required.
Knowledge of all EFT and FICA requirements which relate to the bookmaking industry.
Understand how to handle a lost ticket, and the procedures this entails

Permanent role paying R23.19 per hour.

Ability to commute/relocate: Vryburg, North West: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).

Responsible for customer service in the LPM area.
Ensure that all gaming equipment is fully functional.
Attend to all minor machine malfunctions.
Attend to payments to customers.
Ensure cleanliness of designated areas.
Responsible for basic machine maintenance.
Support with the LPM clearance and count.
Ensure all gambling devices operate as prescribed in terms of legislation.
Ensure that all LPM’s are maintained and that records thereof are kept as prescribed in terms of the Gambling board Act, or the relevant legislative requirements and the ICP’s.
Perform any other tasks reasonably requested by the Security Supervisor or General Manager.
