Our Bespoke programme includes on-the-job learning and mentoring from your experience Merchant teams (Planner, Buyer, etc.) and classroom or virtual-based training offered by our Learning and Development teams. Our structured programme will help you demonstrate an awareness of the factors which influence the way we perform in current trade, how to manage opportunities & risks, how to optimize stock, how to build an assortment, and how to forecast a financial plan.
You will learn the fundamentals of Current trade. In your team, you will extract and analyze financial KPIs and product performance against set plans. Contribute towards compiling a draft report highlighting all issues that have impacted performance. Assist with the re-forecasting of financial plans Conduct regular competitive shops/store visits and produce reports on your findings and recommended action solutions
As a Product Manager, you will have a big part in the success of your product. You will be responsible for creating and managing the product assortment, order placement and allocation, and solving any problems that arise. You will also collaborate with other departments to ensure that your products are accurately represented in the assortment plan.
To get started, you should participate in building the assortment plan in collaboration with the buying & location planning teams. Maintain the assortment using our relevant systems. Support the Planner by extract and analyzing reports on the assortment.
Order Placements & Product Allocation. You will create order lines for the season with your greater team paying close attention to detail with your inputs. Follow up on orders and resolve any potential problems with your Planner. Assist the greater team to ensure order raising & allocations are completed timeously.
