SMD Technologies is looking for a full-time Forklift Driver, or Forklift Operator who will be responsible for operating forklifts/Flexi machines to move goods around warehouses and other industrial sites.

Duties and Responsibilities

The operators’ duties include using forklifts and/or equivalent machine to unload deliveries, stacking boxes for storage, and moving wooden pallets around the warehouse

Prerequisites

• Valid license is essential
• Matric Certificate

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading materials from a variety of vehicles
• Moving pallet-packed materials around the site or storage facility
• Checking loads are secure
• Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance
• Following written instructions and keeping records
• Adhering to health and safety regulations
• Completing physical tasks quickly and accurately.
