Introduction

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is inviting unemployed youth and talented individuals to join their Packaging Learnership opportunities at their various regions in CCBSA. The successful candidate will report directly to the Training Controller.

What to Expect from the Learnership

The successful learners will obtain the learnership qualification that will contribute to the full development of the learner within the food and beverage packaging environment by providing recognition, further mobility, and portability within the field of beverage manufacturing and the fast-moving consumer goods environment.

Learners will complete the National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging, NQF Level 3 Learnership. The following are some of the experience the learner will be exposed to:

• Bottling processes and procedures
• Safety and housekeeping standards
• Quality tests and specifications
• Food handling practices

Qualification Required

• Grade 12 with Mathematics (NOT Mathematics Literacy) and physical sciences passed with 40%
• Two South African Languages passed with 40%
• Must not have previously completed the same qualification/learnership at another company or organization

Other Prerequisites

• Must be a South African Citizen
• Must be Employment Equity candidate
• Must have been unemployed at the time of appointment
• Must be between 18-35 years of age
• Candidates must be willing to commit for 12 months learnership program

Important to note

A learner embarking on this Qualification needs to obtain a minimum value of 120 credits to qualify for the Qualification; this learnership runs over a period of 12 months.
